“INDIAN_01: 'Due to the FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament
of 2017 being hosted by India, the standards of the
football stadiums will surely improve to compete with
any other International level football stadiums, but,
what about the quality improvement of Indian football?
In the match of India Vs USA on 6th October 2017, the
Indian footballers were not able to play possessive football
at all. Even we hardly saw any planned counterattack.
Strikers were neither passing the ball nor taking long powerful
shots at the goal. Maybe, the team is good but the players
are not having that self-confidence in them to fight the battle
hard and win it. No one likes to see those hairstyles of footballers
of a team that keeps on losing without giving any fight.'
INDIAN_02: 'Whether that was really a penalty or not, that may
remain debatable, but, this Indian football team lacks
killer instincts. Indian footballers of this Under 17 team are still
in a defensive shell. They need to play open and counterattacking
football with lots of aggression. Dheeraj, as a goalkeeper is
quite impressive in his aggressive approach, but, the other players
lose 50% of the match due to the fear psychosis and
timid body language. March ahead, win the battle. When your
opponent is playing speedy football, just slower their speed
by playing possessive football with good short passes.'”- Arindam Sain
