COMMENTS NO: YEAR/2016/1153

"HERMIT: 'Somehow, the women empowerment in Indian Sports in Rio Olympics 2016 is improving day by day. Dipa Karmakar finished in 4th place in gymnastics. Sakshi Malik finished in 3rd place in wrestling to get a bronze medal, which is India's first medal in Rio Olympics 2016. PV Sindhu has qualified for the final match in badminton and is at least going to finish in 2nd spot to get a silver medal for India.' KING: 'PV Sindhu really played well against the Japanese player in the semi final, especially in the second set. All these three Indian female sports persons are really the surprise packages in Rio Olympics. Nobody expected too much from them, but, they actually performed far better than all those so-called star sports persons of India. Maybe, PV Sindhu is an under rated player in comparison to Sania Nehwal, but, still, PV Sindhu has the potential to win a gold medal in Rio Olympics 2016, provided that PV Sindhu must not feel too complacent while playing the final match. Always remember that Gold is Gold and Silver is Silver. So, go for that Gold Medal only."-Arindam Sain
