of buses are under that respective State Government and many State
Government has succeeded in implementing Smart Cards for bus
passengers. Moreover, in many states of India, there is a daily pass
system, which you have to buy with some amount of money and then
you can use that daily pass for the next 24 hours to board any
Government bus without giving any extra fare.'
BANGABHOOMI DAILY PASSENGER_02:'In Bangabhoomi State, the process
of modernization of Transport System has already started but the speed
of implementation is very slow. The number of buses under WBTC to be
equally distributed among all the existing routes of all districts
of Bangabhoomi. For travelling in Metro Rails, Indian Railways, Trawlers
and WBTC Buses, there should be a single Smart Card with a minimum
value of Rs. 200 with a validity of 90 days.'"- Arindam Sain
