“JOURNALIST: 'In this year of 2017, several areas got flooded due to heavy rainfall. 
There is a huge financial loss for the people of these areas. 
So, are you having any plans to help these people during the 
upcoming Durga Puja festival ?' 

PRESIDENT OF A PUJA COMMITTEE OF A LOCAL CLUB: 'We have decided 
not to collect any money from these flood affected people for the 
Durga Puja festival. Rather, we have requested the local MLA, 
other reputed politicians and big businessmen of these areas to 
contribute for the Durga Puja festival. We will utilize 70% of the 
total collected funds to help the flood affected people of these areas. 
The Durga Puja will be just a simple one this year without any expenses 
on theme pandals, because unless we help those flood affected people 
of these areas, Maa Durga will not give us any blessings.'”- Arindam Sain
