"NON-BENGALI:'In Bengal, every year, we witness a festival which is popularly known as JAMAI SHASTHI. What actually happens in that festival?' BENGALI:'It is a festival where all the married gentlemen get invitation for a nice lunch and dinner from their respective mother-in-laws,father-in-laws and sister-in-laws. So, all the married women get a golden chance to visit their respective parents' house at least once a year.' NON-BENGALI:'Oho! It is a food festival at in-laws' house. So, what are the food menus in this festival?' BENGALI:'Oh! There are so many food items in this festival. Luchi or Hinger Kochuri, Cholar Dal, Aloor Dum, Aloo Bhaja, Aloo Posto Curry, Deemer Dalna, Malai Chingri, Shorshe Elish, Begun Bhaja, Dal Bada, Fried Rice or Plain Basmati Rice, Jackfruit curry,Desi Murgi Kasha or Khasir Mangsho, Aamer Chutney, Papad, Nalen Gurer Sandesh, Kalakand, Lyangcha, Paantua, Chaler Payesh,Rasogolla and Misti Benarasi Pan.'"-Arindam Sain
