"FINANCE MINISTRY:'We want to raise
the retirement age of PSU Bank Employees from 60 years to 62 years.
At present, we must adopt this policy, otherwise, there are lesser
number of employees in PSU Banks than it is actually required.' TRADE
UNIONS OF ALL PSU BANKS:'Keep it as an option. After attaining 60
years of age, an employee should get back his/her Terminal Dues.
After getting the Terminal Dues, if that employee wants to continue
for another 2 years, then instead of Pension, he/she will get the
monthly salaries for another 2 years.'"-Arindam Sain
