charges, right to set-off for NPA, Inter-Banking & Inter-Branch
Transactions charges must be automated in the CBS Software of all
Banks in India.' KING:'RBI must issue a circular on that. Time has
come to link the Bank Accounts of a person at various Banks with
his/her Voter ID Number or Aadhaar Card Number to track
his/her total assets and liabilities across various Banks. If the
linking process is successful, then a person having too much money in
the Savings Account of X Bank can be utilized as right to set-off for
that person's NPA Accounts in Y Bank or/and Z Bank. The concept of
Zero Balance Savings Account must become obsolete. In rural areas, at
least, the minimum balance for opening a Savings Account must be
