Banks should reduce the probation period of the Probationary Officers
from 2 years to 1 year.' IBPS:'We suggested it long time back, but,
not a single PSU Bank considered our suggestion. Once, a Probationary
Officer becomes a Confirmed Officer, his service bond amount
increases and it is less likely, that a PO after getting confirmed
after 1 year, will try to jump to any other better PSU Bank in the
